3 Park Ave, New York, NY

IEEE is a world renowned source of innovative technology and a leader in specifications and standards for the electrical and electronic field. E.J. York, Inc. was contracted to perform this detail oriented office build-out in collaboration with G-3 Architects, and Laszlo-Bodac Engineers. A challenging aspect of this project was conducting the work above a heavily populated legal firm during business hours. This required E.J. York, Inc. to re-evaluate its original construction schedule, and revise accordingly to accommodate the legal firm on the floor below.

The scope of work for this project entailed the reconfiguration of the buildings air conditioning system on this floor to enable it with new VAV controls, a modernized fire alarm system, in addition to an updated sprinkler system.

A unique aspect of this project was the utilization of Bendheim Architectural Glass for all meeting and conference rooms.
