Dale Phillips

Dale is the President of E.J. York, Inc. bringing over three decades of experience in general contracting and construction management across both the private and public sectors. Since assuming leadership in 2022, he has played a pivotal role in guiding E.J. York’s continued growth, strengthening its operations and reinforcing its reputation.

Dale’s experience spans a wide range of disciplines, including commercial interiors, residential construction, and complex infrastructure environments. His background in nuclear power generation, specifically with Entergy Nuclear at the Indian Point Energy Center, provided him with a strong foundation in budgeting, planning, and operational oversight within highly regulated and detail-oriented settings. He later went on to own and operate a construction company successfully delivering commercial and residential projects throughout Putnam and Westchester Counties.

Dale resides in Putnam Valley, New York with his wife, where they raised their two children together. Outside of work, he is actively involved in local planning boards, and values time spent with family and friends, often enjoying the outdoors, whether it be through skeet shooting or unwinding around a fire pit with a cigar.
