Construction Management
The complexities of today's technology, methods of construction and the intricacy in managing a large number of highly skilled subcontractors have led to the increasing popularity of the construction management building method over the last twenty years. This process allows the owner and architect-engineer to have available to them the services of a general contractor during the development of design documents as well as the building phase. E.J. York Inc., together with the owner and architect-engineer, work as a team throughout the entire project, from concept to closeout. E.J. York Inc. will perform under a professional services contract with the owner as either the owners representative, referred to as agent construction management, or as a construction manager at risk. E.J. York Inc. will perform in either of these models, whichever is desired by the client.
