Twenty thousand square foot corporate offices at 3 Park Ave. New York City. E.J. York Inc. acted as Construction Managers for the entire corporate relocation from 345 East 47th Street. The project entailed the custom woodwork as well as the latest in Fiber Optic Communications.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers

Eighty thousand square foot corporate offices at 3 Park Ave. New York City. E.J. York Inc. acted as Construction Managers for the entire corporate relocation from 345 East 47th Street. The project entailed the custom woodwork as well as the latest in Fiber Optic Communications. This project included the installation of a Building Management System (BMS) for environmental controls and ASME main data communication center.
Bank Builders Corporation

Bergdorf Goodman

Corporate Property Investors

E.J. York Inc. completed many corporate offices for this national property owner in both the General Motors building and their corporate headquarters at 305 East 47th Street including renovations to the executive suite and at the General Motors Building.
Eastern Mountain Sports

Renovations at the midtown branch as well as the Cable Building outlet were among E.J. York Inc.’s first retail projects.
Empire State Building

E.J. York completed the renovation of the Empire State Building 86th Floor Observation Deck. This project included ADA modifications at all entrances and restrooms. This challenging design stayed true to its Art Deco décor.
FAO Schwarz

We completed the new Star Wars theme store in record time and in secrecy so as not to disclose the new animations before release of the film. EJ York completed the project two weeks ahead of schedule.
General Electric

E.J. York was one of the few approved contractors that were allowed to work in the corporate headquarters on Second Avenue in New York City. EJ York completed many in house renovations working closely with building engineers and management to prevent disruptions to building operations.
Harriet Tubman Residence

A historic preservation project in Brooklyn, New York for Forest City Ratner. This wood frame building was the original home of Hariet Tubman who ran “the underground railroad” saving the lives of countless runaway slaves. Relocated from its original location on Myrtle Avenue by the developer and restored to its original details by EJ York Inc. All of its original wood floors and plaster moldings were restored or duplicated by the finest craftsmen in New York.
ITT Communications

When ITT embarked to renovate their corporate offices on 6th Ave. EJ York worked closely with the IBM team to “get it done.”
MCI

EJ York completed this reception lobby for MCI at 757 Third Avenue as part of a 30,000 s.f. build out which included a major data center.
Esperanza Homes

E.J. York built these twenty homes in nine months as owner/developer in 1995. These East Harlem block and concrete plank residential town houses were built in the Federal Style and included a one car garage as well as fine amenities such as hard wood floors and custom Oak Kitchen cabinets.

Tie Rack USA

E.J. York completed this project in the World Trade Center under the scrutiny of the Port Authority. Before the World Trade Center was destroyed this Flag Ship store was the highest grossing Tie Rack in the United States.
