Candidate must be well versed in Excel, Work, and MS scheduling. Ability to execute complete trade take offs, negotiate contracts, maintain submittal logs, cost tracking, attend weekly site meetings, and interact with clients. Ability to apply technical knowledge of building and engineering principles and methodologies to prepare time, cost and labor estimates. Prepare cost summaries for construction projects. Analyze bids and consult with subcontractors and vendors of needed materials to formulate estimates for the construction projects and to resolve any issues related to these projects. Conduct analysis of architects’ drawings, blueprints and specifications. Visit construction sites to gather information as may be required. Perform quantity surveys to determine the amount of labor and materials required for the projects, i.e., estimates of dimensions, unit numbers, equipment needs and crew size. Monitor costs to changes to job order throughout process.

Candidate must have a degree in architecture, engineering, or project management with 10 to 15 years’ experience in high to medium end NYC corporate interiors and or small new construction projects.
